We recognize that exploring Christianity’s role in shaping and upholding systems of racial inequality in this country can be challenging. That’s why we’re offering two types of programming to support faith communities in approaching these difficult truths with humility and love. If you would like more information about either program, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Breaking Bread Together
This program offers a reflective space for facilitated conversations to foster meaningful dialogue and deeper understanding of Christianity’s role in shaping America. Through intentional listening and respectful sharing, participants will explore both historical and contemporary religious narratives, examining how these stories have shaped their personal beliefs and how those beliefs are expressed within their faith communities today.
Christianity, Racial Equity, and Social Justice: A Call to Informed Action
This program invites white participants into a courageous and reflective space to examine how Christianity and white supremacy have been historically intertwined since the founding of the United States and how these legacies continue to shape our institutions, religious beliefs, and social systems today. Together, we will explore the construction of Whiteness, considering not only its impact on people of color but also how it has shaped the spiritual identity, moral framework, and lived experiences of white Christians themselves.
Grounded in faith and committed to justice, this space is intentionally designed for white individuals, creating room for vulnerability, accountability, and transformation without placing the burden of education or emotional labor on Black people or other communities of color. Through a lens of Christian ethics, humility, and reconciliation, our goal is to support white allies in building the courage, clarity, and conviction needed to engage others in the sacred, ongoing work of racial justice within and beyond the Church.
